Green Fields

Standon Calling strives to be as green and ethical a festival as you can get and we’re quite possibly the greenest festival out there. We’re run 100% on biodiesel, have composting loos and full waste recycling.  Our aim is that everything we bring on site is taken out again. You can help us by taking your tent with you when you leave, or packing it up and leaving it at our donation point. All the packaging and containers from our caterers is made from special biodegradable material, and we offer reusable cups at all our bars with a 50p deposit, which avoids waste and keeps the place looking as beautiful as it should. We also take our water from the bore hole on site so there are no associated transportation costs.
