Lordship Stage
Situated handily next to the swimming pool, The Lordship Stage on the lawns of the 16th century manor house will feature folk, americana and local acoustic acts. The Crypt Sessions, Loose and Folkstock Arts Foundation have handpicked a select line-up for each day.
Lucy Rose heads The Crypt Sessions’ Friday line-up followed by Guardian New Band of the Day, Sivu and Annie Mac’s folk-favourite Emily & The Woods. Also on bill will be Thomas J Speight, The Title Sequence, Lowpines, Gibson Bull, Alev Lenz and Matthew Neal.
Leading European Americana and Roots label Loose invite folk-rockers Danny & The Champions Of The World to the Lordship Stage with further performances from Treetop Flyers, the guitar wielding married duo Trevor Moss and Hannah-Lou, The Rockingbirds, solo singer-songwriter Peter Bruntnell, The Dreaming Spires and Case Hardin on Saturday.
Based just down the road from Standon Calling, the Folkstock Arts Foundation community are strong supporters of emerging local talent and the local folk scene. Their Sunday line-up includes critically lauded songwriter Boo Hewerdine, the likes of The Willows, and three-piece country girls Said The Maiden. They’ll also be live folk and rock performances from master storyteller Reg Meuross, Fred’s House, The Folk, Interiors, locals Nick and The Sun Machine, Flaming June, Roxanne de Bastion, Indi Forde, Zoe Wren, Rob Finlay, Minnie Birch and Noel Cowley.
